En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os la gente culpa a los desequilibrios de la hormona de dolencias como dolores de cabeza, el agotamiento, la fatiga suprarrenal, la ansiedad, el aumento de peso, entre otros; sin embargo, en el presente informe se hablar\u00e1 puntualmente de su relaci\u00f3n con la diabetes y como afecta la salud principalmente de adultos mayores.<br>El planteamiento de esta problem\u00e1tica surge de una preocupaci\u00f3n creciente con respecto al incremento de la tasa adultos mayores diagnosticados con diabetes alrededor del mundo, y la influencia del cortisol en la evoluci\u00f3n de dicha enfermedad; se fundament\u00f3 esta problem\u00e1tica con base en la informaci\u00f3n proporcionada por Delgado Mendoza et al.
