La introducci\u00f3n de cultivos gen\u00e9ticamente modificados resistentes a plagas y adaptados a las condiciones locales ha demostrado incrementar significativamente los rendimientos y disminuir la dependencia de agroqu\u00edmicos. La adopci\u00f3n de pr\u00e1cticas biotecnol\u00f3gicas por empresas se alinea con el desarrollo sostenible, integrando aspectos econ\u00f3micos, sociales y ambientales. La tecnolog\u00eda CRISPR se destaca como una herramienta revolucionaria para mejorar cultivos de manera segura y efectiva, ofreciendo un potencial sin precedentes para aumentar la productividad, resistencia y calidad nutricional de los cultivos. Colombia, con su diversidad de recursos gen\u00e9ticos y ecosistemas \u00fanicos, puede aprovechar la biotecnolog\u00eda para impulsar el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico y social en el sector agr\u00edcola.
