Una de las complicaciones m\u00e1s relevantes es la disfagia orofar\u00edngea, que se presenta en hasta el 50% de los casos en la etapa aguda y aumenta significativamente el riesgo de neumon\u00eda por aspiraci\u00f3n, desnutrici\u00f3n y mortalidad (Mart\u00ednez-S\u00e1nchez et al., 2023; Alarc\u00f3n et al., 2022).
